I'm a sucker for romance. I'm known for trying too hard, doing too much and spoiling men till they are rotten. I'm also a very independent woman, used to going out by myself , not needing any man to buy me dinner or drinks, being single for a long time does that to you.  I had decided to stop being so giving and take a more laid back approach with men.

As an honest lover of alcoholic beverages and firm believer that if you keep dating you just might find that one person out there who might be right for you, most of my dates start or end somewhere in a bar or restaurant where they at least serve up a good red wine. Having friends who either work in or own such establishments is a welcome benefit. They help me judge the guy I'm with and occasionally help me get rid of a few.
